Ostentatious New Zealand umpire Billy Bowden may have remained in his last worldwide match in the wake of being dropped from New Zealand Cricket's universal board.
The 53-year-old Bowden, who administered in 84 Tests and 200 one-day internationals more than 21 years, diverted cricket fans with his capricious signs, particularly the abnormal finger with which he demonstrated rejections. Bowden demanded he couldn't amplify the finger as a result of joint pain.
He was dropped from the Worldwide Cricket Board's first class board in 2013, returned in 2014 however was precluded again in the wake of umpiring the Test between the West Indies and Britain in Barbados in May, 2015.
Bowden umpired his 200th one-day universal when New Zealand played Australia in Wellington in February.
