On-screen character Sanjay Dutt, who praises his 57th birthday today, has been settled to play the lead in executive Mahesh Manjrekar's next, which is a redo of 2008 superhit Marathi film De Dhakka.
Manjrekar and Dutt have prior worked together in movies like Vaastav, Kurukshetra, Hathyar and Rakht. "I met Sanju after an extended period of time and I understood he has developed a considerable measure, looked crisp and fit. At first, I was examining working with him on something other than what's expected, that would astound the gathering of people," the movie producer said in an announcement.
"At that point De Dhakka came and I felt it was the ideal subject. Sanjay will have the family gathering of people and youth establishing." The film, which will be a giggle riot mixing with a passionate excursion of a family, is being created by Sarbjit movie producer Omung Kumar and Sandeep Singh.
"We are truly pleased to come into a relationship with Maheshji as makers and are extremely certain that De Dhakka's redo in Hindi will awe the groups of onlookers and pundits similarly as it did in Marathi," the maker team said.
