Laurent Blanc to leave Paris St Germain this week, says agent Jean Pierre Bernes

Mentor Laurent Blanc will leave Ligue 1 champions Paris St Germain before the week's over, regardless of marking a two-year contract augmentation in February, his operator Jean Pierre Bernes said on Monday.

Under Blanc, who supplanted Carlo Ancelotti in June 2013, PSG guaranteed their second progressive local treble last season however went out in the quarter-finals of the Champions Alliance.

"Prior to the end of the week, PSG and Laurent Blanc will be isolated," Bernes told French radio station Europe 1. "We're in discourses with PSG executives and it's being done in a fabulous air from both sides."

Blanc's future at PSG looked in uncertainty not long ago when club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi depicted their season as a "disappointment".
