Thailand's king continues treatment for 'water on the brain': palace

BANGKOK: Thailand's 88-year-old Ruler Bhumibol Adulyadej, the world's longest supreme ruler, has hinted at change taking after treatment for "water on the mind", the Illustrious Family Department said in an announcement Sunday.

The ruler has been dealt with for different sicknesses amid a year-long hospitalization in the Thai capital. He was most recently seen in broad daylight in January, when he spent a few hours going by his Bangkok royal residence.

The lord, who commended 70 years of his rule on June 9, is seen as a binding together figure in a nation that has confronted many years of regularly fatal political change. On a couple events he has ventured in when occasions debilitated to dive the nation into emergency.
