Sonakshi Sinha croons for Akira

Performing artist Sonakshi Sinha has loaned her voice for a tune in her up and coming film Akira. What's more, she says going behind the mike for the motion picture was an "exceptionally last minute thing".

The tune, a limited time video goes, has the verses: "Hai ranjishein tere unimportant darmiyaan zindagi gunjayishein samjhoton ki dur tak dikhti nahi". It will discharge one week from now.

"The tune is about fierceness about how she won't stay quiet and will battle back. That is the soul of the melody," Sonakshi said in an announcement.

She went ahead to specify that "It was really an exceptionally off the cuff thing and genuinely all my practice happened while shooting the video".

The performing artist, who made her introduction into singing with another single titled Ishqoholic a year ago, included: "We were shooting the music video and each time I went to give a shot I would wind up singing it in all my get-up-and-go… Its only one of those tunes! So the fox folks recommended that I ought to record it".

Displayed by Fox Star Studios, Akira is coordinated by A.R. Murugadoss, who had beforehand coordinated Sonakshi in the film Occasion, which was a win in the cinematic world.

Akira sees Sonakshi's character coming to Mumbai from Jodhpur, where she gets into a tiff with the goons of the school she selects in. The story is about her battle to leave a case, where the school goons, a degenerate cop played by Anurag Kashyap and another played by Konkona Sen Sharma play vital segments.

The film will discharge on September 2.
