Billy Bowden may have remained in his last global match, subsequent to being dropped from New Zealand Cricket's worldwide board of umpires.
Bowden has been downgraded to NZC's national board, alongside Derek Walker and Phil Jones, in a shake-up of New Zealand's umpiring positions that has brought about previous top of the line players Shaun Haig and Chris Chestnut being elevated to the worldwide board. Wayne Knights is the third man added to the universal board.
Bowden has remained in 84 Tests, 200 one-day internationals and 24 T20 internationals, his latest appearance having been amid the Chappell-Hadlee Arrangement in Wellington in February.
He made his worldwide introduction in an ODI in 1995 and his Test debut in 2000, and for a long time was a standout amongst the most unmistakable figures on the ICC's first class board because of his abnormal quirks.
In any case, Bowden was cut from the first class board in 2013. He was reestablished in 2014 after the retirement of his compatriot Tony Slope, yet was chopped out at the end of the day in 2015.
From that point forward, Bowden has been on New Zealand's global board, which means he was still ready to remain in worldwide matches. As an individual from the national board, he will now just have the capacity to administer in household amusements and ladies' internationals.
