Wales, who topped Gathering B after their 2-0 win over Slovakia on Saturday, will play their second all-English round of the competition in Paris after they lost 2-1 to Britain in their opener.

In spite of losing 1-0 to Germany on Tuesday, Northern Ireland, who completed third in their gathering on three focuses, were guaranteed of being among the best four third-set groups.

"We can gain from the diversion against Britain, being an English derby. It will be an awesome diversion, great groups who have done well, extremely well to get similarly as they have and it will be whoever hits the nail on the head on the day," Coleman told correspondents in France.

"Northern Ireland are physical. They kick it into high gear the ball forward faster. That is the place their quality is. They are magnificently composed and protectively so hard to separate. They are astounding from set plays."
