Mohammad Shami snatched a match pull of seven wickets to help Mohun Bagan beat Bhowanipore Club by 296 keeps running in India's first-ever pink ball four-day match under lights at Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Tuesday.

India pacer Shami caught up his five-wicket pull in the principal innings with a 2/82, while low maintenance seamer Vivek Singh was the wrecker-in-boss in the second paper with a 5/32 to package out Bhowanipore Club for 199 in 48.3 overs.

Mohun Bagan along these lines won the Cricket Relationship of Bengal Super Association last which was led with pink kookaburra ball under lights to get Eden "prepared" for India's proposed first day/night Test against New Zealand in October.

"I'll favor pink ball anyday, trust this pink ball match flourishes. The best thing is you got the chance to bowl one and only session under sun. At that point the ball begins doing the discussion once the lights are on," Shami, who was declared man of the match, said.

"I got opposite swing in the principal innings. I think if the condition is dry, the ball will switch. The crease for the most part does not stay in place after 40 overs but rather it's not the situation with the pink ball."

Continuing the day at 132 for six, Bhowanipore's innings on the last day endured not exactly a hour with Singh tidying up the tail rejecting Ravikant Singh who edged one behind the stumps.

Having recouped from a knee surgery, Shami is looking at a Test review in the four-Test West Indies arrangement one month from now and he said his center in this match was to recover his musicality.

"I'm chipping away at getting back my musicality and needed to ball long spell. Be that as it may, then I considered enjoying a reprieve after 15 overs to give others a chance to bowl with the pink ball," he said.

"I now feel the same way I was before. The time spent amid the damage was most exceedingly awful piece of my life. I was alongside my significant other alone, and was confined to bed for three months, took two months to walk. At that point bit by bit recovered my wellness at the NCA."

By the way, Shami has made both his top notch introduction and Test debut at this venue which saw his profession best nine-wicket pull.

"This ground is constantly extraordinary to me, and the pink ball debut has made it significantly more unique," Shami closed down.
