| Aanand L Rai mum on casting Katrina Kaif, says film with Shah Rukh Khan ‘important’ |
There were reports that Katrina Kaif may include in the "Tanu Marries Manu Returns" helmer's next inverse the 50-year-old "Fan" star.
Whenever approached if Kaif has been marked for the film, Rai told columnists, "Well, I am dealing with the film. It is a romantic tale. It is a vital film for me as a chief and it will require minimal more investment than what I was expecting and I am chipping away at it."
The movie producer was talking at the trailer dispatch of his up and coming creation "Upbeat Bhaag Jayegi" last night.
The lighthearted comedy highlights Abhay Deol, Diana Penty, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill.
Rai said today creators are going for solid substance driven movies to fill the immense hole when there was an eliminate of movies accompanying no feeling of story.
"Notwithstanding when I was not making movies I used to feel we are duping our group of onlookers for the sake of stories. We guarantee them a story however we never give them, we either surrender them a set or a star.
"The gathering of people has lost confidence in us, the creators, chiefs. To fill the void of no stories, we have to give them part of stories and increase their trust. It has been going ahead since a couple of years and will take somewhat more time," he said.
